The Martinez Brother's we're fantastic! They installed a fire pit with a pathway in our backyard. They were quick, professional and did quality work!

Far exceeded my expectations. I provided a picture of something similar to use as an inspiration and the results Martinez brothers provided look remarkably better. The team was very efficient, courteous, and professional leaving no trace that they were here, other than the new paver driveway extension. Martinez Brothers will be my go-to for any landscaping or hardscaping projects in the future.

We were very pleased with Martinez Brothers. They cleared out the majority of the plants in the saw front yard of a house we had just purchased, replaced the dirt with topsoil and added a sprinkler system and a wrap-around walkway.. This summer, our flowers were spectacular thanks to their work. The staff works hard, cleans up at the end of the day and is respectful.

Fantastic job on a driveway parking pad extension for us. We were out of impervious surface area for our property, so David worked with us to come up with a plan to use open cell pavers. The end result looks really nice, and the drainage they put underneath the pad has made an amazing difference. This area used to be a big river during rain storms, but is now undisturbed after some heavy rain. Quality work - would highly recommend!

Martinez Brothers NC Landscaping were phenomenal. David came out to my house the day I called looking for help, and he had his team here within a week. The yard looks even better than expected, and they replaced my downspout drain! I would highly recommend these guys.

Martinez Brothers poured a concrete slab at the end of our driveway. Price was competitive, they were great communicators, were on time, courteous and cleaned the job site afterwards. Highly recommend!

Highly recommend. Will use again (soon!). Big job. Turned a poorly graded, muddy mess into 3 80’ tiered terraces with french drains. Properly done prep, footings, gravel fill and reinforcement. It’s now a beautiful place for our family that should last forever. I’m a Master Gardener and think Martinez Bros. executed the plan professionally. David is knowledgeable- recommended changes to ensure the best outcome - and was accurate on his estimates (timing, labor and supply costs). Super Hardworking crew cleaned up the job site every night. The brothers make a great team - at least one was at our site all the time.

The problem: the back of our yard is lower than all the homes behind and beside us. Annd the soil is mostly clay. So we get rushing water that has and continues to erode the top soil; also the back and side yards remain saturated with water for days, making our beautiful yard unusable. David Martinez’s crew installed French drains in multiple locations in the back yard and on both sides of the house, down to the road curb. They were quick, hard working and cleaned up very well, so you don’t notice all the digging they did. I am very happy with their excellent work. I highly recommend Martinez Brothers for any landscaping work.

David was easy to work with and gave us an amazing backyard! It was a very large project and he was more than happy to discuss all the details and make sure we were on the same page when he gave us his quote. Much of the work was done underground to help with our drainage but their crew was very thorough and cut no corners. We would absolutely recommend this crew for any of your landscaping needs!

David and his crew built two retaining walls, did some drainage and grading work for us. When I tell you these guys are the truth you better believe it! They exceeded our expectations in every aspect. Their finished product is very high quality and we are beyond happy we chose them for this project!

David and his crew were timely and professional. They worked quickly and efficiently while also doing quality work. We had a walkway that had poor pitch and collected water when it rained. David and his team removed the old walkway, re-graded the area to establish a pitch that would result in proper drainage, and installed new pavers. No more puddle when it rains. I would use Martinez Brothers again for other projects.

Martinez Brothers NC Landscaping did an excellent job on our yard. They mulched, trimmed hedges, pulled out old plants. They started at 8:30 AM and worked until almost 7 PM until the work was completed. Everything looked neat and clean when they finished and the workers were very polite. I felt the price was reasonable.

Working with David and his crew has been a wonderful experience. David is very knowledgeable about landscaping and offered great advice on how to best improve my situation. I needed a french drainage system installed because my backyard accumulated a bunch of runoff water from neighbors' homes. David gave suggestions for the placement of water catch bins for optimal water collection as well as piping needed to carry the water out to the street. The crew worked quickly and finished the job in 2 days! We added drainage bins to the low lying areas of the lawn (pictured) and they have worked well in managing water flow during heavy storms.

These guys are amazing! Started w/ weekly lawn maintenance and have subsequently used them for hardscaping, rebuilding front brick steps, concrete walkways, lawn tear out and full remediation. We will continue to work with the Martinez Brothers for all of our landscaping renovations and maintenance. On top of the high quality work, their crews are respectful and always take the care to clean up. Highly recommended!

The Martinez Brothers did a fantastic job leveling our yard for our pool. They put it up and made sure everything was perfect and called the next day to make sure we were happy and we really are happy. We will be using them again. We highly recommend them. Thanks Martinez brothers!

This review isn’t about a new beautiful walkway, patio or support wall to enhance the look of your home. But this is how the Martinez Brothers (David and Mauricio) fixed my home from a sinkhole, that was ten (10) feet from my home’s foundation and ran along the side of my home!!

I am cutting out a lot of the back story and other design and approval phases. Just Keep in mind there is a lot of time needed to get that done and I do not have any experience in storm waterway management nor engineering. Also its important to note, I got various possible problems from contractors and government agency that I interviewed.

Frankly, I was very stressed because this entire cost and responsibility was on me. And I did not expect to be responsible for a storm drain running along the side of my house and I am sure there are many other homeowners that don’t expect to either.

As soon as I got approval from my HOA, the contractor I had originally interviewed and chosen for the job, did not call me back to accept the job and start work. The other contractors were not a good fit.

More stress.

I found the Martinez Brothers (David and Mauricio) on Google and they had a five star rating. I reached out to them not knowing if they would accept this type of project.

On my first meeting with David, I was impressed with David because he knew the cost of materials and he negotiated an hourly rate for labor. He gave me a price that was inline with the other quotes I received. He also ensured me that with the hourly labor rate that I would get quality work. Because there was not a clear solution to the problem, that Insurance was important to me.

Mauricio, on the first day on site, was honest about being unsure how the sink hole got created but he found a major problem that absolutely had to be fixed which added additional cost to the project.

David and Mauricio were professional in their communications with me. They frequently reached out to make sure I was OK with the project progress and changes.

They started the job on a date they agreed to and started each day on time. Because they found a structural problem, we had to add two additional days to the project, which I completely agree was the right thing to due.

And they were concerned with quality of materials, and the design solution. For example, David offered me choices throughout the project to improve the quality and longevity of the work that I hadn’t thought of. For example, he suggested re-enforcement of the sides of the trance. One time David brought back one of the materials to the store because the quality was not at the level he needed and expected.

I wish I could add pictures to allow you to see the magnitude of this type of job. David may still have them if you want to see the type of quality.
